We’re proud to announce our investment in Arkyv, a Stockholm/Uppsala-based startup founded by Axel Wohlin, Oliver Groth, and Aria Assadi. Arkyv is building a project-based AI assistant for architecture firms, making building regulations and project documents searchable, conversational, and trustworthy.

Why We Invested
Architects often lose valuable time digging through regulations and client documents, and small mistakes can cause costly redesigns. Arkyv solves this with an AI tool designed specifically for the architecture workflow — helping teams find the right answers faster, with sources they can trust. The idea is simple but powerful: less time searching, more time designing.

The Team and Their Expertise
Axel, Oliver and Aria are AI/ML specialists with deep technical knowledge and proven startup grit. Together they have been running Fyris AI, building applied machine learning solutions for global brands. What stood out to us is how closely they now work with architects — testing ideas directly in firms, learning from users, and shaping the product around real needs.

Strategic Partnerships
Arkyv is already collaborating with leading Nordic architecture firms through pilot projects and early partnerships. These relationships don’t just validate the product; they also open doors for broader adoption across the industry.

Looking Ahead
The team is now in the middle of pilot projects — testing, iterating, and building the product together with architects. The next step will be to turn these pilots into long-term customers, deepen integrations with daily tools, and gradually expand beyond Sweden to the Nordic and European market. Arkyv is still early, but their vision is clear: to make AI a trusted partner in architectural practice.
